Mustang Mentors is a peer mentorship program where 5th grade students are paired up with a Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st grade, or 2nd grade student. The 5th graders in Mustang Mentors are considered role models and leaders in the building that consistently follow Mustang Strong expectations, demonstrate learner dispositions, and have a desire to help the younger students in the building. They meet with their younger student daily to help them set personal goals and help them track if they've met their goals. 5th grade mentors must go through an application process and meet certain requirements to become a Mustang Mentor. PK-2 students are referred for the program through their teacher.
