SEES Media Center Policies
Students in Kindergarten-1st grade may check out 1 book at a time. Students in 2nd-5th grades may check out 2 books at a time. The loan period for students is 2 weeks. Books may be renewed as needed.
Students who have an overdue book may not check out additional materials until the overdue book is returned, renewed, or paid for. Lost or damaged books must be paid for.Charges for lost or damaged books will be for replacement costs.
Students must have their teacher's permission to visit the Media Center. They must have a library pass/shelf marker, 5 digit ID number, and the book(s) they are returning to visit the library.
Acceptable Use Policy: All users of school computers/technology are EXPECTED to comply with the Effingham County Board of Education's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). (page 37 in the Effingham County Student and Parent Handbook)
Parent Checkout Policies: Any parent of a SEES student may obtain a library card from the Media Center. Materials may be checked out for 2 weeks and may be renewed as needed.
There is a 5 item limit for parents.
