Support Staff of the Year

My journey in education began at a young age, influenced by my parents who were both educators, and later reinforced by my desire to be present in my own children’s school lives. For the past four years, I’ve been blessed to work at South Effingham Elementary, where I’ve found joy and purpose in helping students grow—not only in the classroom, but in life. I strive to be a safe, steady presence for every child, just as I am for my own. Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about volleyball and enjoy coaching at South Effingham High School. I’m also deeply involved in my Church, where I lead the kids’ department and find joy in supporting children however I can. Whether at school, in Church, or in the community, my heart is always centered on helping others—because putting people first is not just something I do, it’s who I am. I’m honored to be recognized as SEES 2025–2026 Support Staff of the Year and proud to serve a community I love so deeply.
